These terms govern your use of the ScrollIQ mobile app and website. By creating an account or using ScrollIQ, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who can use ScrollIQ

You must be at least 13 years old to use ScrollIQ. By using the service you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are responsible for activity under your account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure. You may sign in with email or a Google account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use ScrollIQ for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, tamper with, or attempt to game the Brain Score or leaderboards.
• Harass, impersonate, or abuse other users through friends, groups, or invites.
• Use the service to break any law or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

5. Scores and accuracy

Your Brain Score, reel counts, and usage metrics are computed using device signals and heuristics. They are provided for personal insight and motivation only, are estimates, and may not always be exact. ScrollIQ is not a medical, psychological, or wellbeing service and does not provide professional advice.

6. Third-party services

ScrollIQ works alongside third-party platforms (such as the social apps it measures) but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms.

7. Beta software

ScrollIQ is provided directly (not yet through an app store) and may be updated frequently. Features may change, break, or be removed, and detection for some apps may be incomplete or experimental.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScrollIQ and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

You may stop using ScrollIQ and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or misuse the service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
