Delete your account & data

This page explains how to permanently delete your ScrollIQ account (app developer: ScrollIQ) and all of the data associated with it. You can do it yourself inside the app in a few seconds, or ask us to do it for you by email.

The short version

Deletion is immediate and permanent - there is no recovery.
It removes your profile, usage history, Brain Scores, reel counts, friends, and group memberships.
No account data is kept after deletion, aside from anonymous, aggregate analytics that cannot identify you.

Option 1 - Delete in the app (recommended)

Open ScrollIQ and go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Confirm by tapping Delete forever in the dialog.

Your account and all associated records are deleted from our servers straight away, and you are signed out and returned to the login screen.

Option 2 - Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email hello@getlaunchpados.com from the email address on your ScrollIQ account with the subject "Delete my ScrollIQ account". We verify ownership of the account and complete the deletion within 30 days (typically much sooner).

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your profile - name, email, avatar, and referral code.
Your usage history - daily aggregate screen-time totals, late-night minutes, and per-app reel/short counts.
Your Brain Scores and derived stats (streaks, weekly averages).
Your social graph - friend requests, friendships, group memberships, and any groups you created.
Your challenge participation and pending invites.
Your push-notification token.

What we keep, and for how long

Nothing that identifies you. No personal profile, usage, or social data is retained after deletion.
Anonymous analytics. Aggregate, de-identified product events (which cannot be tied back to you) may remain to help us understand overall app usage.
Encrypted backups. Residual copies in routine, encrypted database backups are purged on our provider's normal rotation, within 30 days.
Legal minimums. We may retain limited records only where required by law; these are deleted once the obligation lapses.
